I can't help returning to the 80' and listen Soft Cells and Tainted Love, although it might seem out of time this days, still the voice and some sounds are eternal, all the background as something dorment and tormenting that leads to the main character.
This is fantastic! The transition from water to land is so well done, and the water looks very realistic at the edges. I'm a bit confused about the meaning of the woman's pose, but nonetheless she is painted perfectly! Your talent in traditional is amazing!
The moon over on the right seems sort of out of place, but besides that, hot damn is that a gorgeous piece The stairs and pathways on the right and in the background really give it an sense of expanse, infinity, and scale that it wouldn't have without them. Gorgeously done.
I was just going to let it pass, but then I actually looked at the woman. She looks like she's getting married or something. Is she here to escape? Was she kidnapped? Is she just getting ready? How did she get here and why?
Your pieces are so rich in fantasy and mood it's almost close to being haunting, its truly rare to art like this I love this, it feels like a mix of the never ending story and the labyrinth, good old fantasy movies who has similar concepts of environments.
